Este chico necesitaba ganar un torneo importante , eso le va a dar mucha confianza ! Es el único de los jóvenes que puede darle pelea a Alcaraz

One more thought, if Jannik can actually man up to Djokovic, there’s a chance Sinner could take US Open. He’s already proved himself as a major threat versus Carlos.

Sinner just showed De Minaur what it’s like to face a possessed mongoose on methamphetamines. Well done Jannik on your first masters 1000 💪🏻

Jannik on fire and in his best shape for the US Open, the slam in which he played his most spectacular matchs. Ad maiora.

That handshake at the net where both players showed so much mutual respect, is the best highlight of the match.

Sinner was under huge pressure after both Carlos and Daniil were eliminated, and he definitely felt it, but still managed to overcome it and I hope this achievement boosts his confidence immensely. He always makes me feel like he is one little step away from being a real superstar, though he is amazing already.

I can’t recall any recent player with less ability to hit winners or high-danger shots from the baseline than De Minaur. It’s kind of amazing that he’s been able to make his way into the top 20 with no weapons but speed.

Congrats to De Minaur ..He is better that 99.999% of human beings…. And mentally he is a beast…but he does get out muscled and has to use his brain a lot …as he does not have the power of the top 10… lots to learn from watching his game

Really wanted Sinner to win a Masters title. Happy that it happened. He will be winning more in the future. Alex has one ATP 500 title and playing well lately. He will win more too!! 🎉❤

So happy right now for Sinner. Definitely deserves it. Hoping this will lift him to reach bigger titles and more success.

Listening to the sound of the two hitting the ball, the power of the backhand is completely different. This may have been the difference between victory and defeat.

The relief on his face! You love to see it! Didn’t think he had it in him mentally but he proved me wrong 🙂 hopefully one of many

Great tournament for both players!
Great breakthrough win for Sinner:
— 8th Title
— First Masters 1000 Title
— Career High Ranking of No. 6.

Out of the 6 Masters tournaments in 2023, Sinner was absent from one and reached the semifinals or better in 4 out of 5.
This will help his confidence and hopefully he does well at the Cincinnati Masters and US Open.
Sinner will be 22 years old next week on August 16th during the Cincinnati Masters.
He needs to improve on his volleys (and when to come in), lobs, etc.

Finally he deserved a big trophy. The first set he was very tense but managed to stay ahead. The second set he had more confidence and he tried more things congratulations to him. Well done Jannik !!!

As a fellow Aussie – you have to admire Alex DM. He’s right up there but probably needs something really unique. I thought there were so many times he had Sinner on the stretch and he just hung back on the baseline allowing Sinner back in the game – instead of a drop shot or volley.

After watching those ridiculously short highlight clips put out by Wimbledon (one or two points per set? really?) thank you so much for making great highlight clips! Keep up the good work!!

De Minaur solved his Medvedev problem. Sinner should thank him (he has one too). I’m sure he was very happy not to have to play Danil.
