I just love the fact that Dimitrov is finally swinging through his backhand more instead of overly relying on the slice off that wing. Clearly it’s paying dividends. He’s looking again like the Dimitrov who could win an ATP masters 1000
For some reason Dimi didn’t seem to be that pumped up emotionally considering it is actually a pretty tough matchup.

I like how many talk about Dimitrov slice as it’s a problem while usually is the shot that that helps him the most.
That first point was a Dimi masterpiece! Only him and Roger at his athletic best could produce a defensive bh slice of this caliber 0:08. And then to finish it off with a dtl. So beautiful… too bad it probably won’t last. It’s a shame that he is so talented and only has 2 big titles under his name. I hope he wins at least 2-3 more before retirement, a slam included. But i know it’s a pipedream!

Bien por grigor,creo que se le ve en excelente condición física y jugando muy bien pero le sigue faltando un golpe ese algo fulminante para vencer a su adversario hoy tiene de todo un poco y defender y correr no le alcanzara siempre.

If tennis had 10 levels of play one player could reach, Khachanov is a type of player that would always be at level 5. Very solid, but never spectacular.
At 1:35 Karen was such a respectful player, he could have drilled it at Grigor, but instead he timidly put it up the line, only to be picked off by Grigor. That could have totally changed the match.
Karen, do not grow your beard again!
