Alex played the tournament of his life, it was sad that he had to face an on fire Rublev
I love Andrey’s massive forehand but I also love Alex’s spirit of chasing balls💪💪💪💪
Alex is a great player. What a great match, he is going to have a ver good 2024. I wish him luck. From Mexico
Definitely a great point. Alex is one of those players that is exciting to watch because when he’s on fire, it’s like he’s everywhere! Moving this way and that like a demon (pun intended😉). Okay, so he lost, but he had a great run, picked up a healthy cheque, and dazzled his home crowd on his way out with a valiant display in his final match. He should be proud of himself!
Finally, Andrey Rublev won in 5 sets. Despite of audience support was at maximum level to Alex De Minaur, for the local hero.
I was lucky to see this point live 😊
De Minaur is absolutely rapid. Retrieves everything!
Actually, we can believe it ‘cause Roger and Rafa, I believe took tennis to this level of problem-solving, and Novak of course, so it’s great it’s still at that level. Great athleticism.. : )
No crazy grunts, awesome volley, great crowd. This is the kind of tennis I’d watch.
They’re a great matchup when they face off! 🔥 match great baseline play from both but Demon lacks top tier serve placement/form when it matters against a top tier opponent as well as just less on the forehand…both are two of my favorite still! Rublevs line striking forehand ability was too epic..
crazy bounce off the net tape set this up – may we all be so lucky to see a bounce like that in our play
Rublev win 3-2 ❤❤❤
Leyton would be proud😃
ADM is a hard nut 2 crack there4 well done Rublev 💡
De Minaur is crazy fast
Time to admit it, I’m a DeMinaur fan! Love the guy! 😄
No wonder he has this record over Andy Murray , they have similar games of fighting for everything
What a great point
Luckily for Alex, the doubles net had been removed!
orange shirt gonna have messed up knees by the time he 25 sliding like that
What an amazing player. Maybe the new Wimbledon and French Open champion 2024 ?
Eso es saber las reglas del juego y saber jugar, Bravo.
He is one of the fastest players out there
Tenis is so crazy about its rules 😂 its like “yeah, you can do whatever you want”
Amazing shot my Alex 🎉
He fought like never and lost like ever !!
Due to this clip went found the full match, will watch tomorrow 😊
The whole crowd cheered like it was Wii sports
this is why in volleyball there are antennas that don’t allow the ball to go around the poles or its trajectory to go out of bounds and then back in bounds.
Table tennis players be like : Just an average around the net shot
すごい!
しかも綺麗なポール回し。
こんなの初めて見たかも。
The speed was insane😮
Another incredible video. You’ve done it again
I first saw this happen in a US final back in the 80s between Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl when Jimmy Connors did it and there was discussions whether it was legal or not.
I can, because Federer did this 16 times in his career. I still remember watching a friend from high school do the same thing in her match, then her opponent disputing the point. She had to retort, “I guess you don’t watch any professional tennis. If it’s good enough for the pros, it’s good enough here.” It took the opposing coach to tell her it was good, to, um, make her quiet, and play on.
