The live TV coverage of Monte Carlo open is the worst ever.

They put the camera so high up, you call only see two tiny figures running side to side and ball is nowhere to be seen. Plus, the blazing sun makes it even harder to spot the ball.

Worst ever coverage!

People forget that Tsitsipas almost bagged the 2021 FO and was 2-0 up against Nole.

The clear difference is that on clay, Tsitsipas has time to load , prepare, and unleash his backhand, even Sinner was struggling to return those heavy topspin backhands to his BH. Obviously, Ruud faced the same issue.

It’s a shame Ruud can’t get over the hump of winning a big final but Tsitsipas can give himself all the credit in the world for putting himself back on top where he belongs.

Casper had absolutely no belief in his backhand today, the amount of times he ran around it and left too much open court really made him pay the price.

Tsitsipas’s top spin backhands are pretty effective on this high-bouncing court, holding up against Ruud attacks and his forehands were just free-flowing today.

Some of Tsitsipas’s serve and volley points could have been included. That was a surprising tactic in the second set. He played one outstanding half-volley. Also where is Ruud’s tweener lob?

Congrats to Stef, 3 titles in 4 years is impressive. Commiserations to Ruud – keep at it, a big title is within reach!

Tsitsipas had such an outstanding tournament! It was a comeback all of his fans were waiting for. He silenced some of the doubts his critics and his fans had about him coming back to form and being able to to put it all together again and win big! He did and he won big! His back hand looked great all week. He hit it with variety and confidence. He came to the net and was super successful. His 1st serve was there when he needed it! But most of all, as he stated, he was fearless, he went for it, didn’t hold back and was rewarded with the win and trophy! Beautiful Monte Carlo, beautiful win and beautiful show of emotion from Tsitsipas! ❤😍 Congratulations and thank you for making your fans so happy and proud!

If Tsitsipas plays like this at Rolland Garros, he could be a great bet. The dude is a monster on clay when on form.

Like him or not, you can’t deny Tsitsipas really got games, especially in Monte-Carlo.
1 time you can call it a fluke, but the fact that he was able to do it B2B & won 3 in 4 years, is pretty damn impressive.
Maybe people should just let go of the hate and enjoy the moment…

Stef played extremely good this week. Well deserved title. Expected Ruud to do better this time. He is one of the nicest guys on the tour and to reach so many finals and lose is just sad. Hopefully he gets a big title soon.

Things to consider :
1. He is playing in his home base , that goes to show he came in confident , it seems that’s where Stef struggles the most, his 🧠.
2. Paula wasn’t there distracting him as well .

Man I can’t express in words how happy I am for Stef. That loss to Novak really took the wind out of his sails for the past few years. Now he seems to have some confidence again. He is a force on the clay. Happy for him.

It’s pleaser to see Stefanos plays an aggressive game, and don’t be afraid to go forward and going down the line with his beautiful one handed backhand. MAGIC ✨✨✨

Tsitsipas is an absolute monster on clay. I was considering laying down some money on him to win the French at +2000 odds and am kicking myself lol, that line is definitely going to move now.
