Doubt this was a fun or pleasant match for either of them considering their friendship, but they both played well, if not fairly relaxed! Looking forward to Kyrgios’ performance later in the US Open!

Been watching him for a while now…I think the big change is he takes longer to play his killer winners and is in a better position to do so etc. Previously he went for it too early. So that may be an indication he has matured. Plus he is so stylish these days…if he keeps it up he really could beat anyone.

Every match is a hard hitting contest that can go either way, see Fritz and Tsitsipas. Apart from Nadal, only Kyrgios is making it look like he has more time, more options, more class than his opponents. We’re all waiting for that GS where he does so consistently.

I remember watching them play the junior Aus Open final against each other. Wish we could have seen the handshake though!

You can feel that friend against a friend vibe. You don’t want to drop your best buddy from the tournament.

When I see Bautista Agut out, I know there’s no one remaining can stop Kyrgios! As long as he stays focused and treats every opponent with respect like he did tonight, he actually has a chance to win it.

The stadium emptied after Serena played, only the true tennis fans remained.

Hope Nick does well this tournament, he’s certainly earned it this year.

Nick is starting to remind me of Federer back in his prime. He’s just making tennis look so easy. His play style is so laid back it makes you wonder if he’s even trying

Serious spirit with the game is not too late for Kyrgios. I hope he will show all his potential in his remaining career.

We all know Nick K ✅can win the US Open. 😁The question is: can he stay focused? 💫His level is insane, but his mind runs wild when the heat 🔥is really on. I hope Nick K will rise above his mind at get it done🥳🏆
