All those who mock gasquet’s mental and physical strength ignore the many comebacks like this in his career. He’s also won 7 of his last 8 matches that went to a 5th set. He Deserves more respect
There’s always something special about a match between Stan and Gasquet: both of them carry powerful single backhands. Sadly we don’t see many highlights of their backhand to backhand battles, maybe their age or physicality is catching up. Stan possesses a more offensive backhand while Gasquet possesses a more versatile backhand ❤
The fact that Gasquet can beat Stan even at this age is a testament to how incredible his shot choices are and his tennis intelligence. He’s never been the fittest guy on tour or the most mentally strong but he’s smart and capable of producing high quality shots. Forever one of my favourite players
Draper is a player I really want to see succeed in this next upcoming season. I really like him.
Surprised to see they were a match between Richard and Stan.
It’s Always an interesting match between them and between two of the best backhands.
They have give us two of the best 5 setters at Roland Garros and Wimbledon, i will never forget these match.

Good to see Brooksby getting whacked by Draper! Draper played a flawless match and kept Brooksby on his toes throughout
It’s disheartening to see Stan exit in early stages of tournaments since his return:( He and Thiem are such awesome players. While Thiem seems to be making good progress with each match, slowly getting back to his best, it doesn’t seem to be the case for Stan 🙁
After watching the finals in Firenze and Gijon this weekend, these matches felt they were played in slooow motion
