What a game by Thompson, hitting 43 winners and just 20 unforced errors. Couldn’t have played any better, but still Djoko managed to win in straight sets. Incredible stuff!
When Thompson serves more aces than Ivo Karlovic used to in one match, it’s clear how well Djokovic played, kudos to both of them.

It was a good performance from Thompson, because he made a lot of quite interesting attacks on the net and served really well (21 aces).
But, at the same time, much credit for Nole about this win, because he was very patient to build every single point, specially in the second and third set where the match was too balanced.

Interesting highlights. 60% of the points, especially winners throughout sets were in favor of Thompson, and just the final ones where they needed to show how Djokovic won. Shame.
