It’ll be Nishioka in straight sets in the final tomorrow. His form has been spectacular in Seoul this week; and tomorrow will be his first title since Shenzhen in 2018 along with at least a # 45 ranking.

With Nishioka playing so well (managed to keep the unforced errors count to just 5 in three sets of aggressive tennis!), it should be underlined how impressive Kovacevic’s performance actually was! Promising talent

When Shapovalov is on he is one of the most enjoyable players to watch. He is simply crushing the ball on both wings

Love the Seoul crowd 🇰🇷🙌 Hoping for a great final tomorrow with both players looking for their 2nd title!

I think since Alcaraz exploded onto the scene you’re going to see a lot of players change their game to try and adapt. Nishioka is playing a whole new style this week. Hugely more aggressive. And look at the results. Exciting times on the tour.

This was the kind of level I was expecting to see from Nishioka before he had his injury. Glad to see him making the most out of his game by using his quick feet to take the ball early yet still play smart and controlled when he needs to.

the two players, each with one win on the Tour, desperately need a new victory. The final became interesting. Shapo entered this country early and prepared well, and Nishioka recently tour performance has been on the rise. It’s a left-handed real sword fight. Who will win?

Not only Shapovalov’s backhand is single-handed, it’s also that he’s a lefty which makes it so unique and exceptionally beautiful!

Shapovalov beating Brooksby in a similar way to the way Alcaraz played Brooksby at the US Open. You have to put him on the back foot. You can’t give him time.

There isn’t a more beautiful player than Denis when he is on. The fluid power is just a beautiful thing. I hope he gets to hoist the trophy. Go go Shapo 🇨🇦🐺🎾❤️

Nice win for shapo! His attacking game is working well this week. Nishioka showed great fighting spirit, but that Kovacevic guy though 👀

i just love Shapovalov’s ball striking from both wings.
However, i feel that he can make great improvements by not having to go for the lines so much just to win a point (so much risk, so little reward).
one way to do that is by improving his (1) tactics and (2) shot selection.
he requires a lot of work on those areas of his game.

The best part about Shapo is his single handed backhand is as natural as his forehand… free swinging and heavy hitting!

Man Shapovalov forehand racquet drop so smooth, it’s like his arm has no bone in it and he use it like a whip.

Insane ball striking from Shapo. I’ve seen this guy play in person and it’s electrifying. Nice to see him in this steadier state, and getting to a final.
