Mmoh… nice to see him upping his game. Guy’s an absolute unit and it always felt weird seeing this scuplted adonis show up and get his butt handed to him, but starting off this year with wins over Zverev and Shapo, and a close loss to Wu playing out of his f**king mind… will this be the year he finally gets out of the Challenger circuit and makes his mark?
So much showmanship but so little results for Shapo. A very short sighted career. He isn’t staying on for long if he continues this way.

I really like Shapo as a player and i like his personality. But my god, hire someone to help you with your mental game. Its such a waste what this guy is doing. He is so much better than this. Really, really poor performance.
Same old nonsense from Shapovalov, playing stupid tennis and losing to players ranked far below him. I’m beginning to wonder if this guy is ever going to figure it out.

Shap is done as far as winning any 1000 or a Major for that matter. He’s been on steady decline for the last 18 months.

He is either really good or really bad – unfortunately he has been more on bad side over the past year.
Needs to get more consistent or else he will be grinding it out in challengers soon
I don’t know why Shapovalov’s loss is such a mystery to people. He has probably two titles to his name. He’s never been a great tennis player. He’s talented but flashy more than consistent
